Regarding Bugzilla's new upcoming versions
Apple approved our app which we made compatible to Bugzilla 3.4.0 and Bugzilla released a new patch 3.4.1. We wish we could coordinate development effort between the two teams... It is due to the changes in either Bugzilla's Webservices or HTML layout (we parse the HTML for some of the stuff) that we've to also revise our app from time to time.
Thanks for our users for their great support!
Thanks

We made the app compatible with latest Bugzilla version 3.2.4!
Eclipse Bugzilla users.
Few users reported that the app doesn't connect to Eclipse Bugzilla https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/ . We reached out to their webmaster and understood that Eclipse uses Bugzilla 3.0.4 which is compatible with iBzilla but that the Eclipse webservices are currently not exposed. There are plans to allow them in the future and Eclipse will upgrade to Bugzilla 3.4 when it is released.
Sorry to those users who want to connect to Eclipse. We'll make sure that we give you this facility as soon as Eclipse exposes the webservices.
Stay tuned...

Regarding Bugzilla version 3.2.4.
We made the app compatible to the then most recent stable version 3.2.3. What a coincedence that bugzilla.org released new version 3.2.4 just today. In efforts to provide great user experience, we'll release updated version of iBzilla Lite compatible with Bugzilla 3.2.4 very soon.
iBzilla Lite (v1.0) launched on app store!
As everyone knows...necessity is the mother of invention... perhaps this fits the creation of iBzilla!
We use Bugzilla intensively. It is undoubtedly the best open source defect tracking system in the market and with time we realized the need to have something on our phones using which we could use Bugzilla remotely, anywhere, anytime.
Production support guys wanted to know details of show stopper bugs as soon as business teams reported them (mostly at nights), management team wished if they could see issues when they were not in office or were traveling, clients wanted to report bugs when they were out in the field at customer locations or in user trainings and so on... This necessity led to the creation of iBzilla- a mobile app which lets you access Bugzilla bugs from your phone... anywhere.
iBzilla Lite is a free edition and will always remain free! We've given sufficient features in this edition so that users can evaluate it without paying for it in advance.
Features included in this edition are:
- support of stable bugzilla versions 3.0.8 and 3.2.3.
- use up to one bugzilla instance.
- use upto five projects to create new bugs and search.
- create new bugs without any restrictions.
- search for bugs using bug id, product, component, version, status, resolution, severity, priority, hardware, operating system and summary. If you have customized bugzilla standard values for any of these fields then they are available to you as well!
- view my bugs
- see details of the bugs (update is not allowed).
- sort on columns in search result and my bugs.
- standard bugzilla color coding of bugs based on severities.
Thank you for showing such an overwhelming response! There is a PRO edition coming soon which will have lots of new features and no restrictions. We truly appreciate your support and will keep you posted.
In the end... i b(ug)zilla. do you? :)
Thanks
iBzilla Team
